Dr Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock has launched her own Barbie doll with Mattel, to mark International Women's Day 2023, following in the footsteps of Dina Asher-Smith, Clara Amfo and Nicola Adams.

The British scientist commented 'I want to inspire the next generation of scientists, and especially girls, and let them know that STEM is for them. I hope my doll will remind girls that when you reach for the stars, anything is possible'.
